I love bags.. always have, always will be..sounds feminine.. haha.. Anyways.. I am currently holding a speedbelt/harness for weddings with the necessary lens holders, but I only use that for events/wedding, pretty good, but cant carry much. My current fav backpack looks something like a crumpler, but cant remember the name, cartoon character logo, pretty nice bag. I like it because it does not look like a camera bag, so its safer to carry in public in an unsafe environment. But, the limit is..because of its non-camera bag look, the curve on top of the bag, losses lots of space. And my current lowepro photorunner and another camera shoulder bag is not sufficient for gears. Hence, the new investment.
Was looking through lowepro, thinktank, tenba, case logic ( love this ) and many others.. but at the end..ended up with an ugly looking bag..hmm.. wierd eh.. reason behind my deision? well.. more space and features.
My main gears that i “hope” to carry around all the time.. now..” hope” is a very big word for me.. as i love to carry unnecessary gears..for god knows why.. wife always complaint that i carry too much.. yeah. like carrying the whole studio out onsite.. ahaha. yeah.. Besides body and lenses, i hope to carry tripod and at least 2 lightstands with mini softboxes, excluding all the other smaller gears that i am too lazy to mention. At the end.. i think i will be carrying a backpack and hopefully just one tripod bag with 2 stands in it as well.. hopefully no more…
This generic named backpack is ” FOTO” haha.. how generic is that.. the colour sucks. looks like a bag from the 80`s.. BUT i love the additional smaller bag that can be attached to the bigger bag, like a kangaroo.. ahahha..here is how it looks like..saved this picture from the vendors online store. Still waiting anxiously for it to arrive.
as you can see, it still looks okay with the other bag attached. But, if you remove it, the bag looks naked.. like something is missing..so, i have to keep it attached all the time, not really sure if it has a rain cover, hope it does, but i dont think so, as it wasnt written on the description. Can live without that at the moment.
the additional features is the side of the bag where you can put the tripod and if you dont put a tripod there, i guess i can slip in my lowepro lens case there and this bag can also be carried like a shoulder bag. it does have a handle horizontally.
Price wise.. well, nearly the same as a lowepro standard backpack price, varies in different countries of course. Just hope they have it all in black, with rain cover.
