Although this is an article from last year, but what I like about it is that its straightforward and simple. Also, they are so nice to put me in their list of photographers to contact and I didn't even know about it.

Capture the moment4:53PM, Sep 25
You’re engaged! Congratulations! Many of today’s couples are opting to capture this momentous occasion with a professional photography session. Here’s what you need to know…
Why have one?
Engagement shoots are a great way for you to build a rapport with your chosen wedding photographer, and gives you and your groom the chance for you to practise getting comfortable in front of the camera prior to the big day. You can have some fun with your backdrops and props, and why not book your hair and make-up trials to coincide with the shoot date so you can test how your chosen colours and style will look on camera?
Choosing the location
Go big and have a romantic photographic session in an iconic setting like Sydney’s Opera House, one of Queensland’s Whitsundays beaches, Melbourne’s Botanical Gardens or a picturesque Clare Valley winery. If you prefer to make it more sentimental why not get snapped where you first met, got engaged or your favourite places to go together, like a cafe, your local movie theatre or the beach?
Using your pre-wedding shots
You’ll want to share these gorgeous pro shots with your nearest and dearest, so why not use them in your ‘Save the Date’ cards, wedding invitations or stationery, or display your favourites on canvases around the wedding reception? Guests can write messages on a border around the pics, making them double as a guest book. You could even create a slide show to be shown while you have your first dance or during the speeches.
