It has been a long while since I last walked around aimlessly around somewhere. Most of the time, I am rushing from one place to another, have a quick break and move on. But this time was different, why? because there is a few hours gap between meetings and its all at Fremantle.
At first I was thinking, should I just go window shopping around Freo or squeeze in another appointment in between. It took me some time to think about what I was going to do, I procrastinate a lot on personal projects, there is always a good excuse not to do it. Finally decided to take my camera and have a short walk around Freo. Glad I did!. Besides burning some calories, I guess I manage to get some captures that I actually have a bit more time to think before I shoot. Most of the time during weddings, its "chop, chop, chop", everything happen so quick, although I do have to set up a shot, find a good spot and think of composition, etc.., it all happen really quickly. This time, YES! , I actually can take a deep breathe, feel the sea breeze, hear the waves and soak in the surrounding before taking a shot. I didn't take a long walk because there are just so much to capture even within a small area.
Here are some images captured in Fremantle, Western Australia. Hope you like it.
All captured with a Nikon D800 + 50mm 1.2
