About Destination Wedding, My travels around Europe recently | Perth Wedding Photographer

Recently I have been travelling a bit around Europe for destination weddings and some personal travel as well. For the first time, it's with my wife and kid and it was amazing!

Challenge is always the same, which gear to bring, reduce the weight on my carry on and on my back. Lots and lots of walking.

The destination wedding that I captured in France and UK was partially on film. My new found hobby, still photography but with the old school film. Meaning, more weight as I carried around 35 rolls (Fuiji400H & Kodak 800) for each wedding. I have received my scans from my lab in Europe for the UK wedding, but still anxiously waiting for my travel scans from Barcelona, Paris and the wedding in France.

Just a few images from Bath, UK, with my new favourite Contax 645 with Zeiss 80mm 2.0 on film.

Old Coast Road Brewery, Myalup, Western Australia - Bunbury Perth Fine Art Wedding Photographe

Old Coast Road Brewery at Myalup, Western Australia is one of the place to go for awesome beers. I guess they even made it family friendly with playgrounds, ball games and lots of space for the kinds to run around. And Yes, love their beer towers, didn't manage to get a shot of that because no one was drinking it at 2pm in the afternoon.

I was actually doing a commercial shoot for The Best Of Bunbury on location and after that, we decided to hang out and have our meals there. Since I had the camera with me and I know that I have an upcoming wedding in this venue, I have decided to take a stroll around and capture some images to share.

What I love about this place, hm.. I would say, the trees and the open spaces. This place would really suit my style of photography. The greens, open fields and rustic feel of the place makes this place ideal for weddings. As you can see from my image, there are even chickens here.

It would make an awesome venue for weddings in the South West Region and pretty close to Bunbury. Looking forward to capture the wedding here for photography and cinematography.

Faversham House, York, Western Australia - Perth Bunbury Wedding Photographer Videographer

I met Nola at Laurelville after the event and she did a bit of introduction about her place at Faversham House, York, WA. After she have left, Katie Colgan from Loui Col shared her experience with me about that venue. I find it very interesting to have a totally different style and set up with Laurelville when both venues are not too far away and built around the same time. Both totally different character and style but both looks amazing in its own way. So, me and my assistant Avril decided to make a quick stop at Faversham House just to say Hi to Nola and briefly see the place before we head back. The moment I entered Faversham House, I knew I needed to take my camera out. Its so amazing, the antiques, structure, style and everything else is so full of character.

That is when we have decided to take a bit more time and walk around the place for a bit of interior and exterior photos. I sure am glad I did!. Thanks to Avril for assisting me. I am looking forward to capture a wedding in Faversham House.

Thanks Nola, for showing us around.
