Proposal

Mark proposed at Falls Creek in Victoria, which is an alpine region 5 hours drive from Melbourne. We went on a bush walk, and at the end of the track he got down on one knee below a waterfall.

History

Mark and I are from the same small country town. Mark being 2 years older, we never spoke a word to each other until we were 18 and 20 years old and met up in Perth.

Tips & Advice

I work in advertising and specialised in social media for a time. Pinterest is where I found all of my inspiration for my wedding. Try and keep the vision and theme for your wedding clear. You see so many amazing weddings, you begin to grab pieces from all and the theme becomes blurred.

Cutting up magazines and creating mood boards is another way to piece together your day. My favourite wedding magazines are Perth Bride, Hitched Mag and White Magazine.

I organised my wedding from Melbourne. Get your groom to help with phone calls and organise certain aspects of the day like the wedding cars and music!

But in the end, no matter how you planned your wedding, everything goes out the window on the day. It is the best day of your life and nothing else seems to matter!
